From Thursday, October 28, through Saturday, October 30, at the Waterside Theatre of Fort Raleigh National Historic Site in Manteo, get spooked at the scariest haunted house on the Outer Banks. Bring some friends; you’ll want to hold someone’s hand as you take a 20 minute walk through the dark.

Quarantine Island will be open from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The last tickets for the evening will be sold at 9:30 p.m. Only 300 tickets will be sold each evening. Tickets can be purchased online at www.thelostcolony.org or by calling the administrative offices of the Lost Colony at (252) 473-2127. Children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets cost $8 if purchased by October 29. $ 10 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Roanoke Island Historical Association and Dare Coalition against Substance Abuse.
The haunted house is handicap accessible. DO NOT ATTEND the haunted house if you have any medical conditions that might cause you an injury. DO NOT enter our haunted house if you are prone to seizures; if you have ANY kind of respiratory condition, especially asthma, heart conditions; if you have broken bones, casts, or other injuries; or if you are pregnant. Again, PLEASE read our warning signs before considering entering our haunted house.
