Thinking of Our Neighbors Elsewhere in the Carolinas
Hurricane Florence was threatening to become close to a category 5 hurricance as she barreled toward our coast last week. While we were largely spared the brunt on what would eventually be a category 1 storm, we on the Outer Banks are well aware that had just a gradual shift in direction to the northeast occured, we would have been devastated. We are sending all the love and prayers we can to our neighbors along the southeast coast, as well as those points inland who are suffering such catastrophic losses of life and property.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Sun Realty is sending a portion of revenue from all reservations taken between September 15 and October 19, 2018 (for remaining 2018 weeks and 2019) to aid in Hurricane Disaster Relief. A couple of the charities we will support are the American Red Cross - Eastern NC Chapter and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. If we can help you find the perfect vacation rental home for your family, please call (888) 853-7770 or search here on our website. Help us give to those communities who are suffering.
Fall on the Outer Banks is Amazing
Ask any local and they'll probably tell you, fall is their favorite season on the Outer Banks. This year is no exception! We were spared the worst of the storm and our beaches are looking great! The water is warm, the seas have calmed considerably, and there are plenty of local businesses open and waiting to greet more guests. We encourage you to come visit us this fall or for a family holiday get together. We are also accepting reservations for all 2019 weeks if you're looking for a nice summer vacation destination.
We'll see you at the beach!
