Lower Currituck Food Pantry

109 Forbes Loop, Grandy, NC
Hours: Tuesdays, 5:30 – 7:00PM, Wednesdays, 10:00AM – 2:00PM

The Lower Currituck Food Pantry (LCFP) began initially in 2008 as the Lower Currituck Food Drop, through the visioning of two area pastors.  Several locations for the truck deliveries were visited through Lower Currituck.

LCFP’s first food drops were located at Jarvisburg Elementary School and the Dr. W. T. Griggs Elementary School but soon became established in Grandy, North Carolina.  As food drop recipients and volunteers increased, and by the generous support of many area pastors with their respective churches, plus sponsorship by organizations and individuals, the food drop later became established in its current location as the Lower Currituck Food Pantry.

Business and individual sponsorship of the Lower Currituck Food Pantry is the primary manner the pantry can remain open year around to support those in need of food.  Please visit their website to learn more on individual, small group or organizational corporate sponsorship opportunities.
