Come relax at Peeking Duck, a comfortable and tastefully decorated home just a short stroll to all of the shops and restaurants in the Village of Duck! The family is sure to love the 15x34 heated private pool and hot tub after a long day at the beach. The pool is heated at no additional cost to the guest!

This home is right in the middle of all that the Town of Duck has to offer. Local hot spots are just a short distance away, and you can quickly access the popular Duck Boardwalk and Duck Town Park. Duck Donuts is right down the street and across Highway 12 - less than a fifth of a mile away!

Private pool available from second week of April to third week of October.

Located right next to OCD-108 for larger family gatherings

For your convenience, this home provides sheets and towels.

Please contact the Duck office to have your pool heat fee waived.

Pet friendly - dogs only please.

Definitely want to stay here again. Loved the location! Walking distance to everything! We loved this house. The kitchen had everything we needed. Some beds a little uncomfortable, but overall it was pretty good. Home had everything we needed.

Love this location! Love everything being within walking distance! We are spoiled in that our bed at home is an adjustable base with a hybrid mattress. However this was our 13th time at this rental and the mattresses are far better than our first visit.

Near EVERTHING! Didn’t have to drive as much as I thought we would. Beds were very comfortable. Outdated kitchen. Except for needing updating the house was very clean. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect!

This is our new favorite home in Duck! The house had more amenities than we had hoped for and was very nicely decorated. The walk to the beach was shorter than expected and being so close to Scarborough Faire and Lane and literally across the street from the boardwalk on the sound was a huge bonus!

The pool and hot tub were in great shape and really added to our vacation. This house was well equipped to the extreme especially in the kitchen! Great pots and pans! A stick blender! So many storage containers! Lots of dishes and silverware! Unfortunately the Queen bed in the downstairs bedroom next to the bath was very uncomfortable—my daughter and son-in-law said they could feel every spring. Too bad because the other boys do we’re good. Also we spent over $20 on batteries for the smoke alarm when it began beeping. I realize you all would probably have replaced them but we had 2 babies needing to nap and we could not afford to wait. It seems little ke that would be routine maintenance.

This was a perfect house-loved how close to town it is! We walked all over the place we all loved it! Beds and sofas were comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked all but one meal at home. We used the grill multiple times. House was clean spacious and had a nice warm pool. 100% recommend!

This was our 12th year at the property! It suits our wants and needs. HUGE improvement with the beds! Kitchen is well equipped! While I would like the side yard to be fenced (since it is a pet friendly home and that would make it easier to let pets out) this house is in a deer path and it would infringe on them. Had 4 go through the yard this trip!

This home had everything we need and then some! Great house to rent reasonable walk to the beach or sound. Easy driving distance to the grocery store. Beds were wonderful. The kitchen had more than we expected for during our stay was a very pleasant surprise.

We would stay here again. It was a great location in Duck. We especially appreciated the beach cart with cooler bag. The beach chairs were also in great shape. Having stayed here in the OBX many times I was impressed that the kitchen eqipment was a nicer quality than many of the houses we've stayed at before...just the essentials but all decent quality. The bunkbeds were comfy but the queen bed we slept in was very hard. However the pillows were nice. We appreciated that the linens were provided.

The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were ok. Not sure I could sleep on them longer than a week. But totally doable for the time we spent there. This home had everything we needed!! It was a great house and great location for us. I would stay there again.

We love hosting family and friends at Peeking Duck in the heart of Duck Village because there is something for everyone. We can enjoy a day of sand and surf on the beach, a short walk to the sound side for kayaking, shopping or dining, or a relaxing afternoon poolside. After dinner we often take a refreshing walk on the boardwalk to catch the sunset and then pick one of several live music venues for an excellent end to a day in Duck.

*Please note that bed and bath linens are not a standard amenity. Guests may bring their own bed sheets and bath towels from home or you may rent them from Sun Realty for a reasonable weekly price. However, some properties do offer linens as a bonus amenity (refer to the property description for details). Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about bed or bath linens.

*For 2025, unheated pools are open for arrivals between May 2 and October 10. Heated pools are open for arrivals between April 11 and October 31. The ability of the pool heater to raise the water to the desired temperature may vary based on weather conditions. Extremely cold or windy weather may impact its performance. Heating may take longer than expected under these weather conditions, and the heater may be unable to obtain the expected water temperature. Guests may experience potential deviations from target temperatures. Hot tubs are open year-round, unless otherwise specified. Should you have any questions regarding the pool at your vacation home, please feel free to contact us.
