A few things one might do on the Outer Banks to savor the season:
1. Be a kid again: Saturday, October 30th 10am – 1pm is Harvest Hay Day at The Elizabethan Gardens. Activities include hayrides, haybale maze, music, crafts, games, bake sale and more!
From Thursday, October 28, through Saturday, October 30, at the Waterside Theatre of Fort Raleigh National Historic Site in Manteo, get spooked at the scariest haunted house on the Outer Banks. Bring some friends; you’ll want to hold someone’s hand as you take a 20 minute walk through the dark.
A vacation to the Outer Banks is never complete without enjoying a big plate of your favorite fresh seafood prepared in one of the many fabulous restaurants or eateries in the area.
